this game was a lot of fun!! i loved incorporating the prelude- reminded me of my childhood lol and now i really wanna binge watch spongebob. thanks spongebros for an awesome game :))
I don't watch Spongebob so idk if the numbers on the doors are a real thing, but missed opportunity to have a door numbered 666 that would have an alternate ending or an easteregg.
Also the game was more funny than scary, just to be honest with yall there, so when the ghost bike knocked out my character that was the biggest jumpscare I've ever had in the entire game, but anyways it also broke the game. Basically it removed Patrick and when I tried to go inside the boatmobile it crashed the whole game.
I always find my way back to the good ole corner of Spongebob Horror Games and this one certainly did not disappoint. There could have been a bit more scares around but overall i'd give this a solid 7/10 also I could knock on a vending machine so let's say 8/10
This game is fantastic, and seriously surprised me in several ways. I loved the atmosphere from the lighting, sounds, and the eventual twists. Extremely impressive, and not something I would expect from a spongebob game.
Hey spongebros, I recently watched Markiplier's video on this game, and was actually impressed with what I had seen. I noticed that the game had builds for Windows and Linux, but nothing for macOS. So I took it upon myself to download the source code, the Godot engine, and I "made" a native Mac port. It functions very well, with the only things not working correctly being the subtitles, the music that plays when you cleanse Squidville, and fullscreen. Tested with macOS Big Sur. Might not work on Apple Silicon, though I have no way of testing that.
Extremely random, to the creator, have you played the Jak games? The tunnel sequence, and then the credits resemble some features, so it peaked my curiosity.
